what is it i got a better picture or it but as i say they fish specialist who came for my mums fish said he has never seen one before

yep its a gold severum

It definatly is not like any of my albino cichlids. Just know that that fish guy might not of been aware of every species cuz there are a lot. It does resemble my kissing gourmais but its slightly different it very well could be a hybrid of some sort I would look into the severem family, but I don't have those kind sorry I know nothing about them. I do wish you luck though.

its a gold severum

Almost certainly a Severum cichlid, they come in all sorts of colours, including gold.

Expect it grow to about a foot long and eat anything that can fit in it's mouth. Not a community species, well unless it's a community of other monster sized fish.

your fish very well could be a chiclid and it looks very much like a gold severum hope this helps

not sure but it is cool... i would take a picture of it to an aquarium store if i were you. i would ask a few different people there too not just one and maybe the manager because you need to know how to take care of it and what to feed it and stuff...

the face looks like a parrot cichlid, but the wrong colour, maybe it is an albino parrot cichlid.
