Re. hard disk

Question

i have a disk(20 gb bara.) It stops working while i restarted windows(by reset button because windows(98) got hang).Afterwords when i tried to start pc it gives "disk boot failure or no disk".i restarted again and i found that it even not appear in setup. how can i solve this problem? if anybody have a solution mail me steps on [e-mail]
