Re-inserting bobbin case on a Singer 4552 sewing...

I have a Singer 4552 machine. While sewing today, the black, plastic bobbin case popped up and out of it's proper location. I have tried to re-insert it, but it doesn't seem to "seat" correctly. My owner's manual is of no help. Please help!
