  1. I don't think so but the best place to ask is in the eBay community.  You'll find it in "My EBay".  Should be around the Help areas.  I'm pretty sure though that you cannot change it.

  2. You cant change it from a neg, but you can type a follow up on the feedback saying what you want to add there, click on your user name, click on feedback left for others, scroll down to the bottom of the page, click onto "follow up to feedback left" you can do it there.

  3. First don't do anything until you receive the item and make sure that it is as described.  If it isn't then leave everything as is (or file a complaint with PayPal).  Assuming everything is great the only thing you can do now is follow-up to the feedback you've left.

To leave a follow-up comment to Feedback you left for another member:

       1.  Go to the Follow up to Feedback Left for Others page (http://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl... You may be asked to sign in.

       2.  Choose the comment you want to follow-up on, and click the "Follow up" link. Enter your follow-up comment in the box, and click the Leave Follow-up Comment button.

Starting in October you'll be able to edit the feedback and change it to a positive.  People here claim you can mutually withdraw it but eBay stopped allowing that in May because it allows buyers to extort sellers with feedback.  If you are both in Germany then this feature is already available to you.

In addition you should check your feedback at eBuyer Feedback.  Your seller may have left you feedback there.  If they have you'll want to sign up so you can reply to the comment explaining your side of the story.

  4. You can both mutually agree to remove the feedback

  5. Read the eBay FAQ entitled "Resolving Feedback Disputes".  You'll find it at the link below.

  6. The official answer from eBay:

In most cases, the Feedback comments you’ve received cannot be removed. Because Feedback represents members’ opinions, eBay cannot edit these comments, nor can we legally investigate them for accuracy.

However, there are some basic rules that must be followed to ensure that Feedback isn't abused. We will remove Feedback comments and ratings in a few limited situations, if we find that these rules have been broken.

For information about eBay’s specific policies on Feedback removal, see Feedback Abuse, Withdrawal and Removal.

  7. contact ebay and you can mutually withdraw it

  8. No, you can't remove it.

Nor is it possible to 'mutually withdraw' feedback any more.

Once you have the item and are happy with the deal, all you can do is add a follow-up comment (use the Feedback Forum at the bottom of any eBay page).

If the item still doesn't arrive, you need to start an 'item not received' dispute to try and get your money back.

  9. I would wait until the item actually arrives before you go any further, you might not be happy with it. He really should have let you know he was on holiday, that is poor communication and he may just be having you on and be a slow poster. His detailed feedback on his Ebay page will show you how people rate his posting times etc.

You can both agree to mutually withdraw feedback. He will need to leave feedback for you (he can only leave positive feedback as a seller, sellers can't leave negative feedback now) then he can ask ebay to take both feedbacks off. The comments still stay and can be seen by other uses but the negative red symbol is removed and his feedback score goes back to what it was.

When you are happy with your item message him through Ebay messages and tell him you would be happy for him to go ahead and apply for the feedbacks to be removed.
