Re my question concerning aircraft mechanics?

you've misunderstood my question. The U.S. government has listed all jobs as skilled, semi skilled, or unskilled. A/C mechanics were listed as semi skilled. Does anyone know if that has changed?

I have an A&P and as far as I know . We are still listed by the Government as semi-skilled workers. If you are thinking about getting into Aviation I would reconsider. It is a very tough career field now with no sign of changing in the next ten years.
