Re-painting skirting boards and window sills whats the best way to strip old paint?

have lino flooring and uvpc windows is it ok to use a heat gun or do i need to rub them down?

Safer to just sand them

you can use nitro-morse, just make sure you dont get any on the windows or floors as this stuff will melt them.

Sandpaper does the job in my opinion!

give them a sand down then paint them they will be grand

Dont use a heat gun.

Use Nitro-Mors, its brilliant, just make sure the area you are working in is well ventilated.

When the paint is off, sand it down then re-paint or undercoat first

your local hardware store has a liquid chemical for removing any paint from just about any surface.....you just brush it on like paint wait a few minutes then the old paint starts to blister and bubble and then it comes off like magic...be sure to wear protective gloves(RUBBER) and have the area you are working in WELL VENTILATED....good luck
