On a DVD recorder for a television, can DVDs be recordered over again, like VHS tapes could? Or once the DVD is recorded you cannot record over it? What is a good DVD recorder?

  1. Hi amig,

If you use a DVD with the designation "+RW" or "- RW" you can reuse it. The "+R" and "-R" can only be used once.

The standard media is a lot cheaper then the RW media. On sale a standard DVD is less then 25 cents so I just use them.

I have had a lot of trouble with Sony DVD recorders. I am now using a Philips 3475 and I love it.

If you want to check out the Philips go here - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?...
