Re renault megane 1.9dci helpppppppppp!!!!?

Question

i have renault megane 1.9dci nipped came home the other day stopped the car went in for a couple of minutes then went back out and the car wouldnt start when the button is pressed there is a click and the lights come on and the all the dials twitch its not a flat battery has anyone got any ideas

Its the solenoid switch....

Its a special low voltage switch that engages the high voltage going to your starter.

It may be your starter, but 9 times out of 10 its usually the solenoid switch.
