Re start problem

Had a problem with door open symbol and spanner symbol showing red. No troubleshooting advice. Have solved problem that created door open symbol but spanner stays. Unable to access any info to get rid of spanner and reactivate copier.
As we are 100's of miles from a service centre contacting them is not an option. Please help
