Re-starting a ARRIS modem after a loss of power

After the modem lost power, it refuses to re-connect to Timer Warner Cable's network.The little power light is on, but none of the others are.I have tried (a)disconnecting and re-connecting all the cables and (b) resetting the button on the back, but no joy.TWC will come out to "fix" it, but in the meantime I'm without internet and telephone for 5 days.
