  1. Yes it is, they only way I can tell, is the AB's are the one with ball:))

There was only need for one team to wear the away kit!

  2. As a referee, I thought it was disgraceful. If they had turned out in strips like that for a Herts and Ovaltine Third Division match, I would have told the home team to go in and change. Sure, Scotland were the side going backwards, but NZ are the "All Blacks" and Scotland play in blue.  One of them at least had to stick to a sensible strip. This is sponsorship gone mad.

I was planning on commenting on the comical strip worn by England recently, but today's game was lunacy.

  3. It's just the shoulder colours that are doing it.  From the angle that we watch the game on TV (downward and from the side) it is the main part of the jersey we see.  On the field or from ground level it wouldn't be so bad... maybe they will take the millions of people watching at home into consideration eventually... although I doubt it.

  4. yeah it is tough

  5. It was one of the most unpleasant games for me to watch, it also didn't help when one wears glasses. The coin to decide who wears what strip, was tossed just before the start of the RWC at a teams managers meeting. Darren Shand (AB manager) lost every coin toss (not a good start to their campaign), the AB's alternate jersey WAS white but has changed now in favour of the Silver/Grey combo, yucky IMHO.

  6. yeh. me too!!! it's stupid. if NZ had wore there all-black jersey it woud have been better.

the guy on ITV just said "apologies for the jersey clash...if you're confused..new zealand tend to be the team with the ball" -lol;-)

  7. I was thinking the same thing.  If it's difficult for us to see then I feel sorry for the ref.

    Go the All Blacks!!!

  8. Why can't teams stick to their usual colours unless there is a clash?

The matches that would need ONE team to change strip would be e.g.

    Wales v Canada,

    Fiji v England

    Samoa v France

    Ireland v South Africa.

They should toss a coin to see which side would have to change strip and that strip should be VERY different from the

    opposition's.

  9. So do I that is the 1st thing i noticed to be honest is that i could not tell them apart pity that the all blacks did not wear there black shirts but i do like there away shirts just the same might buy one for my hubby for Xmas prezy we shall see lol even tho i am a welsh person i still think new zeland will win the world cup but in my hart hope wales do but i don't think so heheeheeehhe

  10. the all blacks are the ones winning :D

  11. All blacks RULE!

  12. yes , i think that Scotland may as well just play alongside NZ and help them score.
