ReD & EgGpLaNt?

Question

I'm a little stumped in choosing my wedding colors because I really want to have bright red flowers to carry down the aisle, (think, roses, ranuculous, etc...)

but I also want the bridesmaids to wear dark eggplant and a fern green accent color on the groomsmen. I would hate for my wedding to look like a bunch of those "Red Hat Society" women. What do you think?

I just need opinions! : )

I really think it would be better to go with one or the other. I've yet to see anyone who's pulled off purple and red together.

I've seen lots of pics using this combo that were very elegant and it didn't look like a Red Hat event in the least. The forum at http://www.offbeatbride.com has several inspiration pics that can give you an idea on how to make the combo work how you want.

neither of them will go well with green, but either of them with gold, white, or maybe black wld go great and look stunning and u wld have ur pretty roses! :)

mostly, red is perfect with gold btw
