ReNu lens solution - safe to use?

Question

I recently got contacts and my eye doctor gave me a bottle of ReNu lens solution to use. but after Googling the product, I discovered that last year the product has been internationally recalled.

I know this incident occured a year ago, but I'm still kind of iffy on whether or not I should continue using ReNu. should I?

no please dont use it. Opti Free is the best,

please dont use renu.

It was only one of the types they sell, that had something called " moistureloc"...all the other varieties were safe and not recalled.

All the Renu available on the shelves now is safe.

ReNu solution are very safe. I love using it.

Renu is safe to use now. But if for whatever reason you still don't feel comfortable using it, try another brand. There's a lot to choose from...you might even find something else you like better!

I'm pretty sure that they reformulated their solution and it's now safe- but to be honest with you I stay away from it...
