Question:

Reaccuring Dream?

Ok, well, for years I've been having this dream. It's weird because the way I react to it is always different.

It starts out with me walking through pure black, then seeing a light. Due to my phobia of the dark, I run towards the light, seeing an unknown tall male. His appearance varies within every dream. If I'm scared, he's just a black shadow. If I'm happy, he's the same shadow, but with what I think is wings. Either way, the same thing happens. He reaches out to grab my hand, but I back away, I guess frightened. He takes another step forward, takes me in his arms, and walks to this hill.

Happy- He sits down and I sit in his lap, resting against his chest.

Scared- I squirm until he puts me down and sit on the hill, staring at him.

After awhile, the sky darkens, and what seems like fire shoots through the dark. Loud crashes everywhere and the ground starts to shake. Whatever that fire stuff is, one of them hits me and nearly kills me. I wake up in a bright room with the guy standing

  1. This man is your shadow.  He is trying to get you to embrace your fears by exposing you to them and then by comforting you.

  2. The darkness represents the depression you felt when you and your ex broke up.  The light is your friend, who became your boyfriend.

The fact that he is different each time could be one of two things.  I'll list the two possibilities, and you decide which you think is right.

    (1)  Your emotions influence how you react to him.

    OR

    (2) His moods and actions are what cause you to feel safe and happy or afraid of him.  Does he swing back and forth between sweet and scary?

It sounds as if you care a lot for him, but also fear him.  Is the fear just your own insecurity, or is there something in him that causes you to fear him?

I don't know what the awful storm is.  Is it hard times that come in your life?  Is it anger and abuse from him, or from some other source?

I wonder why you rub your eyes.  Are you trying to see more clearly?  Are you sleepy (in the dream?) or does that mean you are about to wake up?

Is this guy very controlling?  Or could this be your ex, instead?  Was he somewhat dangerous, or do drugs, or have experiment with the occult?

Pray to God, your creator, and ask Him to give you wisdom concerning this.

If you are afraid there is some type of negative spiritual entity in your life, watching you, visit my website for tips on how to deal with that.

    God bless you,

    Fairelight
