  1. Yea, I think you should go.I love Italy...it's amazing & the people are so friendly.I'm 15 & i'v gone on holidays with my family to Verona, Milan and Rome, i had a great time.I thought Verona was just so beautiful and magical...i'v decided when i'm 18 i'm going to move  there.

    =]

  2. Hello Canada!!!

Come in Apulia and Salento (South of Italy)... It's a magnific place to stay, white beaches, cristalline sea, lot of stuff to do, traditions, good food!!!

It's called "the heel of Italy". I live at the end of the heel! :)

If you need accomodation here, look at my website: http://www.pugliarooms.com/pugliarooms/i...

    See you soon (I hope!)

    Bye

  3. good...

  4. Are you sure you are not an Italian living in Italy and fishing for opinions on your own country? Your English sounds like that or did you write it up Itanglish on purpose ? Just kidding, don’t take it seriously. Italy is a great place to live in, but so are so many other places in the World. If you really live overseas think twice about it, you might get a cultural shock as an “oriunda”. For a young person looking for a job, Italy is not passing an ideal moment in it’s history, especially the South and there are  hardly any openings for English teachers, but maybe in a few years time, it will have solved it’s problems. On the other hand you’d be coming to a country steeped in culture, with your favourite food, lovely people, even though they gripe too much half of the time, about real or imagined problems. Italy has one characteristic, especially Rome, it makes people feel at home.  Torna pure a “casa” se Te la senti.

  5. Listen, i'm Italian and I find your idea as a"16 years old girl idea".What?Do you want to move to Italy just because of  a boy?Wait, wait. There's not much job here, no as many possibilities  as you can find in other countries. The idea fo teaching English to the kids is nice but, wait a minute, do u know there are so many girls and boys who do the same here.

    I don't think it's a good idea.

You won't eat with English language only but if you have no economic problems.Leave for Italy. It's always a life experience.Isn't it?

By the way I wouldn't do it.

  6. dont come to italy!!!

im italian and i ive here in italy (milan).. i wish i lived in the USA!!! here there is no future!! we dont have jobs for italian young ppl!!!! if you want to be a teacher, then you have to be better than the thousands of italian teachers-to-be that are looking for a job but cant find it!!! italy is a good place for vacation.. but its not a place to live in!!! there is no future if you have to start up from nothing!!! i mean, if your dad is a lawyer, then there's a chance ull be a lawyer, but if ur dad is something less influential.. then u really have to work harder and MAYBE ull get ur chance...

im sorry to disappoint you with my answer, and im sorry if you think im just a looking italy from a pessimistic point of view.. so if you live in the USA and ur from italy.. ask yourself why your relatives left italy!!!!!!!!!

i repeat.. its a wonderful place to come to visit and its amazing if you can come here during the summer.. but remember that italy is going down.. and its hard to find an avarage job (not to mention how is hard if you want to find a good one!!)....

i wish you all the luck.. (since u were born in the US, u already have some luck!!!!) =)

    Giulia.
