Well he was a sociopath and a murder.  A terrible person any way you look at it.  However, he was a genius.  How many people wrote a book (WHILE IN PRISON) about how they were going to take over their country then got out of prison and did it?  He also was a real sicko in the bedroom.

He might have a bad reputation, but he does have an admirable side to him. After all it does take considerable skill and guts to rise up against the democratic government and to overthrow the republic.

Though its not accurate to say that he was a genius. He was merely a good orator, he knew how to capture the hearts of his people, but other than that there was very little about him that made him a 'genius'.

He s*cked as a war commander, he was lazy, he had syphillus, his book was just full of turgid ideas, and he was extremely anti-semitic, which was why the german people loved him.

If you asked me, he was just an egoistical, megalomaniac, old fool who happened to be at the right place at the right time.
