Read an essay about self injury....want to give it to a friend...can't find it?

I read a paper/essay once about self injury and it explained being outside as it started to storm she then found a building across the street that looked very comforting, when she entered she couldn't get out, the room was spinning she cuts and then the sun came out and she found a door....if you know where i can find this essay it would be SO helpful...she really needs this right now!
