wow yeh they're big n have technology but dnt underestimate the small country's ay, it comes down to the training to the people that use the gear not the equipment themselves, russia wouldnt risk major war with Australia, America, England and Japan

Scary! Yes it could.. Seems like anyone who goes against Russia loses. They are a HUGE power.

I just don't understand why this one little country decided to overtake the other one after all this time. It only was starting trouble for no reason.

i dont think its probable,  at least this soon

its 21 century and no1 will allow that, but if Russia annexes Georgia ,m it will go on and nextin the list will be Ukrain and other former soviet Union counrties, and then, Russia will have the power in its hands and then its probable that ww3 can start..

I watched the UN meeting that was on today, and things are getting really heated, The US is accusing Russia of overthrowing Georgia's Government. That alone is scary. If there is no peace made, which the UN is to meet at 3:30 EST. I believe their will be a full out war soon unless Russia agrees to a cease fire. I have been watching this unfold all day and can't believe that I have heard the words that I have heard. You should have seen the looks on everyone's faces at the UN meeting.

I gotta tell you, I'm still suspect of anything Tass has to say.

If true, it's an escalation but this will continue to escalate a bit before it ends fairly soon.
