Reader's Digest new format?

Hey. I live overseas, but I love the reader's digest magazine (the US version). I buy the current issue whenever I'm back in the USA or whenever a relative is coming over. Well I just got the February issue (with the cover story "How Safe Is Your Bottled Water?" and the interview with Katherine Hiegl) and I noticed that it was completely different!! The title design is different, no more "Our America" posters on the back, a lot of articles are gone ("Money Makers" "Food For Life" "Health IQ" "My Planet" and more), a lot of new articles are there, the whole RDLiving section is gone, just the whole design is difeven the little motto on the side saying "America in you pocket" has been replaced with "Life well shared". When did this happen?? The last issue I got and read was the December 2007 issue with the interview with Denzel Washington and the cover story "Real People Real Miracles". What other changes are there? Which version do you prefer? Is the new version worth it??

  1. I noticed that.  I definitely DON'T like it.  They took out all of my favorite sections, especially the Our America paintings.  I wish they'd switch it back.
