They are so entirely different. I like RD for the variety of interesting articles, but NG has such great photography too. I guess it depends what you are in the mood for!

You can't compare the two...Readers Digest is well rounded for reading.  While National Geographic has the most breath taking pictures of places most of us will never go.  Both great reads!
