Reading/Writing - Math! Whats more important?

Alright- So I am having a debate with my brother about which is more important "Reading/Writing" or "Math" and he is being a complete d**k! haha! I need to find a way to put some sense in his head!

I argued that you could be a janitor-like scrubbing floors-but if you couldn't read and your employer left you a note-you'd be f*cked!

You could stock a gas station or grocery store with food! If you couldn't read that it said "pringles" and your employer said "put the pringles on that shelf over there-you would be in major trouble"!

I am saying that without the skills to read you couldn't get a job- but if you couldn't do math you have a better chance of getting employment!

what are your honest ideas and beliefs on this matter? how do you feel about this?

without any of these skills...any person will be a guaranteed failure.  

why don't you stick up a middle finger to your brother and say, "read this"
