  1. Yes, our experience and knowledge usually determine our ability to glean information and/or contentment from diverese types of literature.

    For example, if we have a college level knowledge of science, we could extract enjoyment out of reading Scientific American or Discover.

    If we have no scientific background, we would not be able to discern the abstract and/or esoteric aspects of the discussions presented in those scientific journals.
