Reading people?

Question

I'm able to read people. I can like tell them their personality, their favorite movies, music that they like, favorite atheletes and stuff just by talking to them. I can also tell they who they're crushing on. Is this normal or abnormal? Is there a better term for this other than "reading people" because people look at me funny when I say it? How can I perfect this or make it even better. I'm not like a stalker, I just know people from talking to them.

i can read people pretty well as well. it comes from years of experience of observing everything around. i've earned my nickname as "the spy" from it.
