Discarded Pakistani wicket-keeper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zulqarnain-Haider-c98685, says that he is ready to return to International cricket after a three-week therapy session with psychologist Maqbook Babri.
The player further admitted his mistake after he disappeared during the national team’s final ODI clash against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757 in 2010 at UAE, and added that he has managed to overcome his short-comings and was thankful for the support shown by the PCB.
Receiving sessions from Babri, who is a psychotherapist and a certified clinical hypnotherapist, has helped the keeper to regain mental toughness. He however, is still under one-year probation for his antics in 2010, where PCB is keen to monitor his code of conduct.
“Although I regained form in the last domestic season, there was something running through my head,” Haider told The Express Tribune. “I remained a bid confused but the sessions with Babri helped regain my confidence. I feel completely ready for an international comeback now. I am more focused on cricket and the saga has been erased from my mind.”
“I now realised it was a mistake from my side. I should have informed the team management. If I return, I will never repeat such a mistake,” he added.
