  1. both albums are lyrically on point, they have so many good songs it is almost impossible to decide which to pick is better.....

so i wont....tie!!! c'mon thats like sayin whats better the blueprint or the black album

  2. Sockerman17 got all the details right imo.

    I prefer Life After Death

  3. Life After Death...Hands down.  Not only was it a double disc, but the production, the collaborations, the lyrics, the subject matter, it was all on point.  He didn't just talk about killin' cats, he went to a whole different level, from fuchin b!tches, killin nuccahs, gettin' money, to missing lost ones.  The music strictly funky on most of the tracks.  He hit on the head.

  4. Ready to die

  5. I like "Life After Death" better personally because I think Biggie talked more about the issues facing him and other people at the time. In "Ready to Die", he was talking more about guns, drugs, and girls. In "Life After Death" he was talking more about the problems he was facing like having all these problems because of the money, all the people hating on him and songs like "Your Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You)" I felt just presented a stronger message. The differences between the two albums is that on "Ready to Die", Biggie was talking about dealing drugs and commiting crimes and stuff like that because he was actually do that at the time and he felt like he had to do anything to survive. He was ready to die, meaning do anything, in order to survive. But when "Life After Death" was recorded, Biggie wasnt selling drugs anymore or commiting crimes because he had money so he felt he couldn't rap about it anymore since he wasn't doing it. Life after death is more relaxed like he doesnt have all that pressure on him anymore to survive but he has new problems because of the new life he has.
