I just got a new laptop with Windows Vista. I input a flash drive into the USB port and it asked me if I wanted to open the folder or speed up my system. I accidentally clicked on the speed up my system button and started ReadyBoost.
I took out the flash drive and input it again into the laptop, and there is a tmp file on it that whenever I try to delete it, I get the error message that the disk is write-protected.
When I right click on the drive, then click on properties, there is no "readyboost" tab to allow me to disable it. There is also no switch on the flash drive to turn write protection on/off. Is there someway to get rid of this file and remove the write protection so that I can add new stuff to this flash drive??
