Iran Contra.  Trading weapons for hostages, making that deal before he ever took office.  Lying about it.  Reaganomics, trickle down.  Left us in a huge deficit.  Unemployment rate was the same when he left as it was when he arrived, so trickle down did nothing to help.  Tax cuts helped the rich only.  I lived trough it and I know that for a fact.  Many terrorist attacks under his watch, although no one seems to want to remember that.  Basically, in my opinion, HE was his biggest mistake.  All he had was a stupid grin, a healthy disrespect for the poor and the elderly and a bunch of BS.  After all, he WAS an actor.

the Iran contra affair, arming the Mujhadeen against the Russians (mujhadeen fighters went on, in some cases, to form al-qaeda), giving Saddam chemical weapons...(I guess that's why we know that WMD's were there)
