La Liga can boast of the finest players in the world. It is the likeliest of destinies of ambitious players from South America to the grasslands of Africa. People of all ages, who have an interest in football, would http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Love-c22466 to play in the finest league in the
world.
Footballing gods ranging from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629,
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Villa-c10629, Jesus Navas, Van Nistelrooy, Juan Mata and many others are household names in the Spanish republic.
Players want to make it big in the league of champions where they have the chance to play on the same field as their idols have done so previously. One such player is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jorge-Molina-c19195 Vidal, aka Molina. The 29-year-old Spanish striker has played amateur football
for the better part of his career and will put his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Skills-c40539 to test against the best in the 2011/12 La Liga campaign.
Spearheading the attack of the Seville-based club, joining Molina, is the talented Ruben Castro. Molina’s goals in addition to the experienced striker’s exploits in the Segunda Division have propelled the side to La Liga competition once again. Castor scored
27 goals in 42 games for Betis, while Molina chipped in with 16 goals in 31 appearances.
The players were perfectly complemented by attacking midfielder, Achille Emana. The Cameroonian has a very healthy track-record for Betis, scoring 38 goals in 84 official games after joining the club in 2008 from French club Toulouse.
Molina has had the good fortune of playing with the likes of Castro and Emana in the green and white stripes of Betis. At 29 years of age, the Spaniard will be playing for the first time in La Liga after making his professional debut in 2007/08. Playing
for Poli Ejdo, Molina scored 5 goals in 30 appearances in his first season as a professional footballer. However his goals were unable to save the club from relegation.
Molina gave an improved showing in his next campaign with Poli Ejdo, scoring 19 goals in the Segunda Division B. His heroics in front of the goal did not go unnoticed as he was poached by Elche CF. He carried his prolific form to his new club, where he ended
with 26 goals in 38 competitive matches.
Molina’s clinical finishing lured then recently relegated Real Betis to his doors and it was an opportunity he could not refuse. Molina had become a key player for Elche in his only season with the club and they were not ready to leave their prized possession.
While Elche CF had given him his second shot in the Segunda Division, a move to Real Betis was too good. The team possessed quality players and were most likely to progress to La Liga, a chance any player would love to have. Molina took the contract offer
from Betis and was transferred to the club in a 1.5 million Euros deal.
Molina has been lucky for Betis as they were promoted in the first time of asking. For a player who has played most of his adulthood in amateur leagues, and has a history of scoring sporadically, Molina is playing at the level he had only dreamt of. If he
manages to cling on to his starting role and score against the La Liga defences, he will be our very own Cinderella man.
