Real Estate Agents: What laptops under 1000.00 are you using.?

New to the Real Estate Business, need to purchase alot of things, so budget in tight, what computer are you using that costs no more than 1100.00 dollars and what features are the most helpful to you. Thank you.

  1. There are many laptops out there much under this range.

    I have a multi-fax, printer and scanner.  I use the scanner to keep all my paperwork on clients and so that i can email copies to lenders, clients, etc.  I use adobe to make PDF's (it's like faxing to the computer).

    I use MS word and MS excel  PLUS I use MS Publisher to flyers, and marketing materials.

    I have a exterior hard drive to save/back up all my files, so a huge amount of storage on the laptop isn't really important.

    I would get a laptop with a good speed and light weight.

    I use MS outlook for scheduling and client information.  There are several program to client AND lead managment like Act or goldmine.  However, I would wait and management them on paper or outlook first.
