We have an offer to sell our house for sale for sale by owner (no real estate agent). The first time we bought our house we did the same. Except we didnt put any earnest money down. This time I am requiring earnest money. Anyway,,, I need to know where I can find some basic free contracts to purchase real estate. THANKS!

  1. .    If you are dealing with honorable people, it doesn't matter what contract you use.  If you are dealing with weasels, it doesn't matter.  So grab a piece of paper and write the sales price, the legal description (from your deed), how they will pay you (cash or loan), and the closing date.  Sign and date it.

The sale will close in 30 days.

  2. Ok unsure where the last guy practiced Real Estate, YES USE A CONTRACT.......Go your you local Board of Realtor Store and Purchase a contract... about $10.00.
