The Spanish international accepted that Real Betis were right to ask for a penalty as the ball hit his hand in Los Blancos’ latest La Liga fixture at Benito Vermillion.

"We have to take things slowly because it's been hard for us. Tonight's match was hard fought and it tilted towards us, but there are 12 games left and we must continue to be careful and professional. We know we can suffer an upset if we relax.”
After their Spanish domestic competition fixtures over the weekend, Real Madrid return their focus to UEFA Champions League, where they welcome CSKA Moscow, after drawing the first-leg 1-1.
