Jose Mourinho’s assistant has taken out time to expresses that Los Blancos are completely composed ahead of locking horns with their city rivals Atletico Madrid.
Karanka has claimed that the Spanish giants are prepared for El Derbi Madrileno, insisting that Madrid are not overly concerned about dropping points at the top of the Spanish Primera Division’s league standings.
Real Madrid are set to face Atletico Madrid at the Estadio http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vicente-c36001 Calderon on Wednesday.  The Madrid derby comes at a very crucial time for Los Vikingos as they appear in great need of three points, if they are to maintain their advantage over Barcelona
in the race for the league title.
While discussing the title race, Karanka maintained that Real are confident that they will uphold their lead against Barca.
To the dismay of the Santiago Bernabeu faithful, Los Merengues recently dropped two more points this weekend.
Jose Mourinho’s men faced Unai Emery’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 this Sunday and even though the match took place at the Santiago Bernabeu, the Whites had to settle for one point as the match finished in a goalless draw.
Although both teams performed brilliantly throughout the encounter, none of the two sides were able to find the back of the net, and the match ended in a stalemate.

Thanks to some resilient defending by Los Che, Madrid were successfully kept out and forced into a draw.
As Barcelona won their match against Zaragoza the previous day, Sunday’s result proved to be a disadvantage for the Spanish capital-based side.

Barca, being as efficient as ever, secured a comfortable 4-1 victory away from home, keeping Los Blancos on their toes.
Hence, Madrid’s lead, which previously stood at six points, was reduced to four after the past weekend’s fixtures.
However, Real Madrid’s assistant coach has emphasized that his side are not in a state of panic.
While addressing the press, the Spaniard was quoted as saying:
"We are calm because we are four points above http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604. I know the atmosphere in the dressing room and we are calm. We are thinking about our next match and we have players who are eager to continue to fight to win La Liga."
The Madrid derby will take place on Wednesday and if Real Madrid are to drop any more points, it will be possible for Barcelona to claim the league title.
