The 46-year-old, who made around 180 appearances for the Catalans giants, has tipped his former club to overtake Los Merengues at the top of the Spanish Primera Division’s league standings.
Currently, Madrid are four points ahead of Barca in the table, although many believe that the title race is all open and anything can still happen in the Liga BBVA.
Jose Mourinho’s men boasted a 10-point lead over Pep Guardiola’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 earlier this year; however, the scenario has completely changed since Madrid played Malaga in the league.
Previously, football purists all over the world predicted that Los Vikingos will go on and win the league, dethroning Barca from the Spanish crown. However, recent developments in the league have shown that nothing can be said about the final outcome at

Real have dropped six points over the past few weeks, whereas a string of impressive performances have kept Barca in La Liga title hunt.
With a number of tough fixtures, including El Clasico, still to be played by the Whites, there is a possibility that Barcelona might end up being the winners of the Spanish Primera once again.
While talking to Sport, Stoichkov was quoted as saying:
"Real Madrid look nervous and are under pressure. This can only benefit Barcelona, who are in fine form and will not spill any more points. I will always back Barcelona to win the league title. The title is theirs if they win all their remaining games."
With the gap between the top two standing at just 4 points, speculations about who will be the champion this year are going wild. With the Clasico due in less than two week’s time, one can only wait and watch how the two team’s perform under this amount
of pressure.
