Real Madrid boss says Kaka's return will be like signing new player
Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho claims that he will not have to bring in any new faces when the January transfer window opens for business as he is set to welcome back Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite ('Kaka') in the next few weeks.
The Brazil playmaker has been out of action for several months after undergoing surgery on on a persistent knee injury in August.
However, the 28-year-old is edging towards his return and, despite reports that he would be on his way to Inter Milan or returning to AC Milan in January, Mourinho is delighted that the midfielder will be returning soon.
The manager told FIFA's official website: "Our big signing in the winter window will be Kaka. He'll be a fantastic boost for us. How many clubs can sign a Kaka in January? There are no players of his calibre on the market."
Meanwhile, Mourinho reiterated his desire to one day manage in the English Premier League again.
The 47-year-old was a huge success at Chelsea, helping them to win two EPL titles as well as several other trophies. He is widely considered as one of the favourites to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United, but claimed that he was in no hurry to
move back to England as he has a job to do at Madrid.
He said: "I want to go back to the Premier League, no doubt about it, but I'm not in any hurry. Real Madrid are a fascinating club and I really enjoy working here. That's why I'm just focusing on doing a good job at Madrid. I want to make history here like
I did with Porto, Chelsea and Inter. My goal is always to make the fans of my club happy and to improve my players' self-worth, and I don't want things to go any differently at Real Madrid."
