Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho eyes Miroslav Klose, Benzema considers move to Villa
Miroslav Klose emerges as latest Real Madrid target
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AS-Real-c38478 Madrid’s latest target as a possible replacement for injured striker Gonzalo Higuain.
The Spanish giants are reportedly in talks with Bayern Munich in attempts to bring the German international to the Bernabeu.
As the race for the La Liga intensifies, Mourinho is desperate to bring in an experienced striker.
Klose’s agent Alexander Schuett revealed that Madrid boss, Jose Mourinho, seemed very determined to land the German striker during the January transfer window. He said, “There have been some inquiries from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011. Also there have been some tentative inquiries
from Real, but nothing more than that”.
Argentine striker Higuain has recently undergone a surgery and will be out for the rest of the season. The confirmed absence of this star striker has forced Mourinho to look for a replacement.
So far Klose is amongst the many players on his list. The 32-year old German striker has an impressive record. He has made about 105 appearances for his national side, scoring 58 goals during that time. He has spent 10 years playing in the Bundesliga for
sides such as Kaiserslautern, Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich, scoring 120 goals during that time.
The Polish born striker has always said he wants to remain in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904, which he feels would improve his chances for receiving a call up for the upcoming Euro 2012. A move to Real Madrid could seriously harm those chances, but it will bring a guaranteed chance
of first team football at Real Madrid.
The January transfer window closes at the end of the month and Mourinho should think carefully before he decides on a striker because his season could very well depend on it. As brilliant as Klose is, it cannot be predicted how the 32 year old, who is well
past his prime, will perform in the La Liga.
Karim Benzema to reunite with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gerard-c14664 Houllier at Aston Villa?
Recent reports reveal that out of favor Real Madrid striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Karim-Benzema-c20350, may be on his way out soon and he is keen on a move to English Premier League side Aston Villa where he will reunite with former manager Gerard Houllier.
The French striker will be desperate to leave Madrid during the January transfer window as Madrid boss, Jose Mourinho, is on the lookout for strikers to replace the injured Gonzalo Higuain.
For Benzema a move to Villa Park seems like the best option, where he expects Houllier to help him with his revival, like he did at Lyon a few seasons ago.
Benzema has only made six appearances for Real Madrid this season, which explains why the striker is desperate for first team football.
However, a few hat tricks in recent matches prove he has not lost his touch, but has just been unable to adjust with the Spanish giants.
Gerard Houllier would be wise to make use of this opportunity and bring the striker to the Premier League, considering he himself is in dire need of a decent striker.
Aston Villa has been in terrible form this season and the arrival of a player like Benzema is just what they might need for a revitalization of the squad.
