Karanka expressed his views about how the current season has gone so far for the Spanish giants and insisted that Real Madrid have done everything to merit the Spanish La Liga title.

The assistant coach stated that it is not only winning games which mattered in this season’s campaign, but also the fact that Madrid were competing against a team like Barcelona.
He claimed that his side overcame great adversity over the course of the current season.
Jose Mourinho’s men have surely proved themselves better than all opposition in the Spanish Primera this season. Their performance in the domestic league has been simply outstanding and they have clearly emerged as a destructive force across Spain and Europe.
Although the Spanish capital-based club were tipped to win the Spanish Primera, as they commanded a healthy lead of 10 points at the top of the Liga BBVA’s league standings, they have seen their advantage drop to just 4 points over the past few weeks.
Midway through the last month, many would have believed that Madrid have already ousted Barcelona as the champions of Spain and that Jose Mourinho had finally brought an end to Barca’s dominance over Spanish football.
However, the title race appears to be all open again and nothing can be said about which team will be named the champion after the season is over.
Aitor Karanka has argued that it is Los Vikingos who are worthy of the title.
While talking to reporters, the 38-year-old was quoted as saying:
"These players deserve to be champions because of their hard work and the adversity they are overcoming.”
The assistant coach was also unable to hold back his praise for Real’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 as he called him the best player in the world.

Can Real Madrid pull through the pressure of competing against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 at this crucial point of the season and be named champions of La Liga for the first time in three years? Only time will reveal.
