Spanish giants Real Madrid made little work of Segunda Division minnows Ponferradina in their Copa del Rey return leg at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Madridista would have surely enjoyed the match, as Real Madrid’s summer signings combined together to put up a footballing spectacle.
Striker-c*m-winger Jose Callejon was the pick of players, as he continued his brilliant form in front of goal, while Sahin gave his best match performance in a White shirt.
Callejon had the honours of starting and finishing the scoring for Los Blancos. The 24-year old started the proceedings with 25 minutes on the board and had his last laugh with two minutes remained.
Adding the well timed brace to his tally, Callejon takes his statistics to nine goals this season. The summer signing has been making all the right noises since rejoining from RCD Espanyol.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nuri-Sahin-c28251 also joined the fireworks, as he scored his debut goal for the Spanish Capital club. Sahin’s first goal of the 2011/12 season came at the death of first half, meaning that Real go into the second half with a two goal advantage.
Despite have a two goal margin over their un-fashioned visitors, Los Blancos took the match seriously, barely dropping the intensity in the second half. The strategy paid for the hosts who added three more to their tally in the period.
French teenage prodigy, Raphael Varane, got on the score-sheet four minutes after the restart. However, it was not long before Ponferradina scored to return home with respect. Acoran’s goal five minutes after Varane’s addition with the clock striking 54
minutes made the score 3-1.
It was one way traffic after as Real entered Ponferradina’s third in great numbers. Young striker Joselu scored the fourth goal for Los Blancos, making his goal scoring tally an envious two in two appearances.
After the match Jose Mourinho was happy with the team effort and stated that professionally the team is on the right track. They are a hard working group with high ambitions.
"We are doing well, professionally. People are ambitious and hardworking. I think the fans know these characteristics of our group, then the difference in winning competitions are details. I ask my health and mine, a better world," the Special One added.
