http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pedro-c29582 Leon continues to harbour ill feelings for Jose Mourinho under whom he spent a barren year at the Santiago Bernabeu. The exciting winger is back in familiar surroundings, as he dons a Getafe shirt once again but has been plagued by injury problems
in his second stint at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
As the 2011/12 season draws to an end, Pedro Leon’s imminent return to Real Madrid also nears. However, if the 25-year-old winger will have his say in matters regarding the matter, he will not return to the Bernabeu as long as Jose Mourinho is still there.
Leon explained that he has a clause in his contract that stipulates that he is entitled to another year Los Azulones. However, he admitted that he is unaware if progress has been made on that front.
"In my contract with Getafe there is a clause which says that the deal could be extended, but up to this date, I do not know what will happen and I have not spoken with anyone about it," he said at a press conference.
"For what is coming out in the press, it seems that Madrid's coach will stay.
"This is the same situation as last year, so I will stay here."
The Mula-born attacker has been plagued by injuries over the course of the season, suffering with a knee injury that has kept him out of first team for the majority of the campaign.
Thus far into the season, he has failed to show the form that earned him a move to Real Madrid and even after returning to full match fitness last month, Pedro Leon again suffered the ignominy of yet another injury scare.
The Murcia youth academy graduate bemoaned his fight against injuries and stated that he will do his best to be available in the remaining matches. He added that Getafe have a chance of playing in Europa League and he is aiming to help his adopted side achieve
it come the end of season.
