Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho: El Clasico wil be ‘super’ Clasico
The Real Madrid boss has promised that the match between Real Madrid and Barcelona will live up to the pre-match hype.
Both teams are in their prime form and so are their star players, Cristiano Ronaldo for Madrid and Lionel Messi for Barcelona. Both of them have been scoring in La liga for fun. Although both the Spanish teams are full of star-studded
players, but if one dubs the match as Messi vs. Ronaldo it would magnify the excitement.
It will be a mouth-watering affair when these two giants collide with each other at Nou Camp and for the fans and football analysts, the clash will provide huge interest and involve a lot of emotions into the game.
Real’s manager Jose Mourinho is an expert when it comes to such high profile games. His record against the top sides is commendable. He is considered as the best manager in the world, has won every major competition there is to
be won and managed in the best leagues in Europe, triumphing in all of them. His home record is unbelievable. Never has he managed to lose a home game in his entire career.
His team is also considered the best in Europe. Along with the £80million man Cristiano Ronaldo, they have Kaka, Karim Benzema, Mesut Ozil and Xabi Alonso in their ranks.
German world cup stars Ozil and Sami Khedira have taken their game one-step ahead under the influence of their Portuguese coach. Ozil’s form has attracted lot of praise from the critics while Spanish star Xabi Alonso is capable
of marking Messi. Real has a lot of attacking options in the form of Argentinean hit man Gonzalo Higuain, Frenchman Karim Benzema and Argentinean attacking midfielder Angel Di Maria.
On the other hand, Barcelona have world player of the year Lionel Messi who just cannot stop scoring; the Spanish world cup winning trio of Andres Iniesta, Xavi Hernandez and David Villa and Brazilian defender Dani Alves, who is
widely considered as the best fullback in the world.
All these top players are in top form and when they come face to face on Monday, it will be nothing short of a classic encounter. There is lot at stake in this game, with Madrid just one point ahead of their archrivals at the top
of La Liga. A win will be crucial and both teams will go for a win.
Mourinho said, "It is our responsibility to put on a great game — the coaches, the players and the referee. We have to give the world a super game."
The Special One has brought many players into the club, but defence was his top priority. For that reason, he brought in his compatriot and trustworthy Portuguese International Ricardo Carvalho. With the inclusion of the Portuguese
star, the defence has become a lot tighter and their defensive record thus far has been excellent.
Mourinho added, "Physically we are fine and know what to do, but we face a team that has had a lot of time working together and we have only had a few months. But, in any case, we must be prepared for any eventuality."
