Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho: “it was a very complete game”
Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, is happy with his team’s performance at Stade de Gerland. The Spanish team beat Olympique Lyon 2-0 in their UEFA Champions League group fixture.
Win over the French team has secured Real’s qualification into the next round. They need a paltry one point form their remaining two fixtures to progress as group leaders.

"We have 12 points and we are qualified for the next stage, now we have to get the top place of the group," Mourinho commented.
However, he did not comment about their chances in the Champions league and instead, talked of their feats of last year.
"We follow our own path," he added. "We are doing things well, but so did we last season, when we won five matches and drew one and reached the semi-finals.

Mourinho was not impressed by their inability to put the match to rest earlier. According to him, they did not make the right decisions in the final third and hence had to fight it out until the 70th minute, when they scored the second goal.
"We had a very serious match, in the first half we could have put the match to bed with better decisions in the last 20 meters," he told reporters at a post-match news conference.
"With the second goal, the match was practically over. We were always calm and we had tactical control of the match all the time.”
