Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho praises Inter Milan President Massimo Moratti
The Real Madrid head coach, Jose Mourinho, has appreciated Inter Milan President Massimo Moratti for his recent words of acknowledgement towards his team. Mourinho hailed the Inter Patron saying that he is an incredible man; the perfect example for the football
world to look at, and learn from.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 lost the Derby della Madonnina to AC Milan 3-0 to be left behind in the Scudetto race. However, the major disappointment came when the squad lost to the struggling Bundesliga outfit, Schalke 04, in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League.
On the club’s official website, the Inter owner said:
“Today I want to thank my team and all the players who in recent years, including this one, have brought Inter fans like me so much joy and success to be proud of.”
Moreover, Moratti showed his firm belief in the team saying that the players are very well capable of recovering from the downfall and will recover soon to reach the prestigious events again. The Nerazzurri are still in the Scudetto race but the chances
are very slim. There are just six games left in the season and AC Milan are at the top with a lead of 5 points.
The former Nerazzurri coach spoke to the media about Moratti’s public message for his players, for their efforts to keep the outfit in the Champions League. Talking to the media, Mourinho said:
“The words of President Moratti really moved me and remind me that he is an incredible man. In these sad days for Inter’s Champions League elimination, taking the time to thank the players is truly fantastic. These are words that show the football world
what a President should be. All Inter fans ought to be proud to have a President like him.”
Mourinho, while talking about Inter, left the media agitated when he refused to talk and respond to the question related to their UEFA Champions League semi-final against Barcelona. In place of the former Inter coach, the assistant manager replied to the
questions and most of the journalists walked out of the press conference as a protest against Mourinho’s behaviour.
