Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho says no deal to Tottenham’s Welsh wizard Gareth Bale
Real Madrid have been linked with a move for Welsh international and left flank sensation Gareth Bale for a while now. The player, who has been nothing short of a revelation at Tottenham since the end of last season, seems
to have been formally denied a move to Real Madrid by the current manager of the team, Jose Mourinho.
Tottenham were rumoured to have rejected a big money bid for their prized asset, who is currently twenty one years old, by an unknown club this summer and have since then gone on to offer the player a new and improved contract
instead, which would see the player play at the White Hart Lane for the coming four years at least.
Despite that fact, the player has been constantly linked with a move away from the club. The latest club with which the player was linked to was none other than Real Madrid. Mourinho however was recently made aware of these
rumours and went on to say, "Madrid are constantly being linked with this player and that player but I want to say that I do not want another left winger."
“Marcelo now has offensive quality and defensively he is growing.”
“I didn't like anything about Marcelo when I arrived because I thought he could do everything but defend but now I am a lover”
It was formerly strongly believed that the manager despised the Brazilian, Marcelo, who is probably the only left back at Real Madrid. However ever since the manager’s arrival at the club, the side back seems to have come
into his own. He has been giving some of the performances of his life; not only is he going forward well, which was formerly his only quality, but the player is actually now looking to be a serious defensive asset at the same time.
Marcelo has gone from being one of the most disappointing players at the club to being one of the most loved and quite possibly the most consistent player in the team currently. He makes fantastic overlapping runs and gets
his man almost every single time. He is amongst the numerous players at the team who have been made to prove that they are capable of playing in Madrid under Mourinho and in doing so, that has brought out the best in them.
With Marcelo playing as good as he is and Mourinho rubbishing talks of buying another left sided player, it is fairly obvious that Bale is definitely not heading to Madrid any time soon.
