Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho secretly plotting a move back to Inter Milan
Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is eyeing to a return to former club http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan come the end of the current 2010-11 campaign.
The Portuguese has had a turbulent season at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium so far.
The self-proclaimed Special One’s first season with the Spanish giants has been eventful. The Los Blancos are through to the Copa del Rey final and the semi-final of the UEFA Champions League where they meet archrivals Barcelona.
On the other hand, Madrid’s chances of winning the Spanish La Liga are diminishing as they trail the Catalan club by 8 points with only six games remaining in the season.
The 48-year-old has not made an official statement regarding his departure, however, recent events suggest so.
Earlier in the season, Mourinho hinted that he would seek a move away from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jorge-c19120 Valdano.
To add fuel to speculations it is reported that Mourinho has recently reserved a place for his children in the Lugano international school. It is the same school the kids attended when the Portuguese was in charge of Inter Milan and it is just an hour’s
drive from Inter’s training ground.
The Portuguese has a habit of keeping his children close to his workplace. When Mourinho was in charge of English Premier League side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, his kids attended the St. John’s Wood, an American school which was also nearby.
The 48-year-old will certainly be welcomed back to the Nerazzurri as he had enormous success with the club. In 2010, Mourinho guided Inter to the Italian Serie A, Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League titles.
Moreover, Mourinho has come under intense criticism from Real Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stefano. Di Stefano slammed the Portuguese’s negative tactics as Los Blancos were restricted to a 1-1 draw against Barcelona in a recent La Liga fixture.
Di Stefano said, “(Real Madrid players) just run back and forth constantly, tiring themselves out.”
The Madrid legend added that the team’s approach was “clearly not the right one.”
With uncertainty looming over Mourinho’s future, Real Madrid face Barcelona in the Copa del Rey final on 20 April, 2011 next.
