Real Madrid midfielder http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Esteban-Granero-c12919 scouted by Roma and Arsenal – La Liga News
If reports in Spanish media are to be believed, Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero is on his way out of Santiago Bernabéu. A host of European clubs are on the alert following the news of his likely exit.
Italian club AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603, London-based Arsenal and cash-rich Malaga CF have all shown interest in the player.
The 24-year-old has been on the fringes of first team action since his return to the capital club. He has made 70 competitive appearances for Los Blancos, mostly coming on in the dying moments of dull matches.
Granero got his early footballing education from Real Madrid but moved to cross town cousins, Getafe, in search of first team minutes. After spending two magnanimous years with El Geta, he was re-signed by Manuel Pellegrini.
He looks to be on the move after failing to establish himself in the first team and has plenty of suitors lining up at his doorstep.
AS Roma coach Luis Enrique is interested in the attacking midfielder and wants to entice him to the Italian capital in the January transfer window.
However, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 would be fierce.
The Gunners are plotting a move for him in the January, as Arsene Wenger continues to find able replacements for the departed duo of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 and Cesc Fabregas.
According to Spanish radio station, Cadena Ser, Wenger is aware of Granero’s situation at Santiago Bernabéu and is planning to take advantage.
However, Granero has the option to continue in the Iberian Peninsula. Malaga CF manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-c23383 Pellegrini, is an admirer of his former charge and will be looking to add him to his roster.
Granero has fallen down the pecking order since the summer arrivals of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sami-Khedira-c32325, Kaka, and Mesut Ozil, Granero would do well to
look for first team opportunities elsewhere.
