Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra going nowhere claims agent John Williams – La Liga news
John Williams, the agent of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Real-c30728 Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra, has played down the rumours linking the French international with a move away from Santiago Bernabeu.
With people raising doubts over Diarra’s future with the capital Spanish club, his agent has insisted that the French playmaker is quite content to prolong his stay in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 and will remain in Madrid the next season.
Since the conclusion of 2010/11 season, the 26-year-old veteran midfielder has been constantly linked with a move away from Santiago Bernabeu. The highly talented French midfielder has been a reported target of several European clubs including Tottenham
Hotspur, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, Manchester United and Juventus.
Having exhibited his talent for some of the biggest clubs including http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Portsmouth, Diarra failed to make an impact under Jose Mourinho last season. He failed to emerge as a first-team regular under the ‘Special One’ last term and it is
highly likely that this trend will continue in the upcoming season.
Reports indicate that the French midfielder has set his eyes on a move to an English Premier League club with Tottenham Hotspur being mooted as his possible destination. He helped Portsmouth clinch the FA Cup title in 2008 under then manger, Harry Redknapp,
and now reports claim that his successful venture with Redknapp can persuade him to join Tottenham Hotspur.
However, John Williams has cleared the doubts over his agent’s future, saying Diarra will be in Spain next season.
