Los Blancos find a fight on their hands as they look to secure the signature of highly rated Brazilian prodigy, Casemiro. The Sao Paulo player has garnered interest from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and Real Madrid.
Casemiro is one of the latest names to come out of the talented pool of youngsters from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paulo-c29431 starting eleven in the ongoing Brasileiro.
Out of his 18 appearances in Brasileiro, Casemiro has started 16 of them: a testament to his growing talent.
His performances have alerted European top clubs, who are keeping an eye out for him.
Inter Milan, AC Milan, Juventus, Real Madrid and Arsenal are reported to fight it out amongst themselves for his signature according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
It has been reported that the aforementioned clubs have bid for Casemiro’s services but their initial offers have been rebuffed by Sao Paulo.
Casemiro signed a contract extension in August 2011, and is ties to the club until 2016. The Brazilian has a buyout clause of 50 million Euros in his latest contract.
However, it has been estimated that his parent club will allow him to leave for 25 million Euros. Rossoneri are trying to lure him to Milan with a bid of 15 million Euros.
Real Madrid were enticed by the youngster in the summer transfer market, and proposed to sign him in the deal that also included http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Neymar-c27639.
AC Milan looked most likely to snap him under the noses of their European counterparts. However, with Los Blancos joining in the race, snaring the youngster is a difficult proposition for the Italian champions.
The high fees being touted for the 19-year-old have ruled out Arsenal out of the competition, who have a penchant to secure cheap and young players.
Meanwhile, Madrid’s entry will likely result in an inflated transfer for the highly rated midfielder. The Spanish giants have a history of paying over the odds for South American starlets and outbidding them in the current economic climate will be a coup
