The Spanish international has expressed that his teammates are on very good terms with the head coach and that they are willing to work together in harmony.
Real Madrid’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Álvaro-Arbeloa-c5282 has revealed that the players at the club share a good relationship with Jose Mourinho, as he downplayed rumours suggesting that there are problems in the Madrid locker room.
A number of reports claimed that Mourinho had a falling out with his players following a string of poor performances at the start of 2012/13 La Liga season. The Portuguese mentor even claimed that he has no team following his side’s defeat at the hands of
Getafe.
However, Los Blancos have managed to find their winning form once again and have paved their way to a number of recent victories.
Arbeloa voiced his opinion regarding the recent situation in the Spanish capital, and asserted that the squad has no problems with their manager.
While addressing the press, the 29-year-old was quoted as saying:
"We have a lot of respect for Mourinho and we are mature enough because of this and the trust we place in him. If there is something we are unhappy about we discuss it in private with him. We have a very good relationship with him.”
"We are very close to each other and to the coach. I get on better with some people in this group than with others, but this happens everywhere. I do not have much to say about this.”
The defender then turned his focus towards Madrid’s UEFA Champions League game against Ajax. Having won their previous match of the group stages against Manchester City, the Whites will be looking to increase their number of points as they take on the Dutch
champions.
Arbeloa firmly maintained that the match against Ajax needs full attention as they have the ability to complicate matters for Los Blancos. Additionally, he stressed that his side cannot afford to slip any points.
"We just have to concentrate and go into the Ajax match tomorrow knowing that it will be hard. We are in a very difficult group and we cannot afford to drop points in any games,” he added.
