Real Madrid thrash Levante with 8-0 victory
Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid scored a resounding 8-0 victory over Levante on December 22 in the first leg of the Copa del Ray. The stars of the match were http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Karim-Benzema-c20350 and Cristiano Ronaldo with three goals each.
Right from kickoff, Real’s Angel di Maria, Ronaldo and Karim Benzema were on the offensive. The first chance of the match was created by none other than Ronaldo, who delicately flicked the ball towards Benzema, who tried his luck
with a volley but missed the goalpost by a few inches. However, it was Benzema who scored the first goal in the 6th minute, cutting through two defenders within the box and firing the ball into the net. The second goal came in the 10th
minutes, when Benzema made a beautiful pass to Ronaldo, who sent it on to Mesut Ozil, who took the score to 2-0.

he picked up a loose pass and dribbled through Levante defender Cerra to shoot the ball into the back of the net. It was game over for the rivals. The cherry was placed on the cake by Ronaldo just as the first half was about to end, with an easy goal off a
rolling pass from Benzema. The first half had Real Madrid written all over it.
The second half was not much different. Real started the second half with an instant attack on the rivals goalpost. Benzema and Ronaldo both got their hat-tricks during this half. Benzema got his in the 69th minute,
