Real Madrid to move in for Tottenham Hotspurs Gareth Bale transfer in January
Jose Mourinho is reported to be interest in luring Gareth Bale to Spain, in the January transfer window. The Portuguese manager is looking to tempt the Tottenham boss, Harry Redknapp by offering Lassana Diarra, plus twenty five million
pounds in cash for the player.
Jose Mourinho is reported to be in desperate need of a player, who can play on the left. He is believed to have turned to Bale, after having missed out on the capture of England’s Ashley Cole.
He is going to make the deal a whole lot more tempting then it already is by offering, Diarra who has already played under Redknapp at Tottenham. According to the People Sport, Mourinho has had his eyes on Bale for quite some time now.
Tottenham signed Bale, around three years ago, from Southampton and thanks to his impressive form he has been awarded a new four year deal at the club. Diarra on the other hand has been attracting interest, from Manchester United.
Mourinho is strongly hoping that, Redknapp will take his bait and agree to help the deal go through.
According to People Sport, “He will offer cash plus Diarra, who was with Redknapp at Portsmouth. Spurs signed him from Southampton three years ago and his impressive form was rewarded with a new four-year deal in the summer.”
“Former Arsenal, Chelsea and Portsmouth midfielder Diarra, 25, has also attracted interest from Manchester United”
“There were no takers but Mourinho hopes his offer will tempt Redknapp.”
Lassana Diarra is a player that the Tottenham boss, knows very well and is also rumoured to have been tracking him for a while. The player has now become surplus at Madrid and Mourinho is offering to give Redknapp, just what he wants,
only this time around, Mourinho wants something in return as well.
Bale has been in splendid from, since the end of last season and has become a part of numerous transfer speculations. The twenty one year old Welsh international player can play on almost any position on the left side of the pitch and
he has become the integral part of almost ever attack launched by the North London club this season.
The question that arises right now however is, whether or not Redknapp will go through with the deal. Mourinho is rumoured to have made his intentions very clear on the situation, so it is now ultimately up to Redknapp to decide what he
wants to do.
The manager must now decide just how valuable Bale is to the Tottenham side and whether or not he is worth missing out on capturing the signature of Lassana Diarra.
The deal is not going to be taking place till January, which means that both the managers have more than enough time to reconsider their options and consider what to do in the future.
Mourinho might find some one who he wishes to bring to Madrid instead of Bale over the coming the months, or Redknapp might find a replacement for Bale at the club and hence the deal could become all the more easier to complete.
None the less it is impossible, to say just what might happen, since everyone will have to wait till January to see what happens regarding this situation.
