Real Madrid vs. Barcelona – Super Copa – Match Review (Part 1)
Real Madrid hosted Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu for the first leg of the Super Copa. Barcelona were the favourites to win the fixture after the arrival of Alexis Sanchez while Real Madrid were looking to be a strong side as well.
Jose Mourinho played his strongest side as he did not want to risk the first El Clasico of the season. The Portuguese coach had each and every player available to him and he fielded the best of the lot.

The front three were changed as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296 featured in his favourite striking role and he fell deep to add an extra player in the midfield.
Throughout the game Real Madrid were the better side compared to Barcelona. The Catalan Giants were finding it hard to move the ball around in the midfield. Real Madrid were pressing too high on the pitch and they were making it hard for the Barcelona defence to pass their way out of the strikers.

Barcelona were finding it hard to possess the ball for a longer time and Real Madrid took advantage of this early on in the game.
